Product Safety & Care Guide

At KKOL, we want you to enjoy our products safely. Please read the following guidance before using any of our products.

These safety instructions are intended as general guidance and should always be read alongside any instructions provided on the product label or packaging.

1. General Product Safety

  • Keep all products out of the reach of children and pets.

  • Use products only as intended.

  • Do not ingest products unless they are specifically intended for consumption.

  • Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

  • If a product comes into contact with your eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.

  • Seek medical advice if irritation persists or if a product is accidentally swallowed.

  • It is advised to conduct a patch test prior to use

2. Candle Safety

Candles should always be used responsibly.

Please follow these safety guidelines:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep candles away from children and pets.

  • Always burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.

  • Keep candles away from curtains, furniture and other flammable materials.

  • Never burn a candle near draughts.

  • Leave at least 10 cm between burning candles.

  • Do not move a candle while the wax is hot.

  • Stop using the candle when approximately 10 mm of wax remains.

  • Keep the wax free from matches, wick trimmings and other debris.

  • Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each use.

  • Do not burn a candle for more than four hours at a time.

  • Allow the candle to cool before relighting.

  • ​

3. Wax Melt Safety

Wax melts should only be used in suitable wax warmers.

  • Never add water.

  • Never leave a wax warmer unattended while in use.

  • Use only tea lights designed for wax burners unless using an approved electric warmer.

  • Do not overfill the burner.

  • Keep away from children and pets.

  • Allow wax to cool before removing it from the burner.

  • Never move a burner while hot.

  • ​

4. Reed Diffuser Safety

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.

  • Do not swallow the liquid.

  • Avoid contact with skin and eyes.

  • Place on a stable surface away from electrical equipment and polished or painted furniture.

  • Clean up any spills immediately as the liquid may damage certain surfaces.

  • Keep away from naked flames and sources of heat.

  • ​

5. Room Spray Safety

  • Use only as directed.

  • Do not spray directly onto skin.

  • Avoid contact with eyes.

  • Do not spray towards faces or pets.

  • Keep away from heat, sparks and naked flames.

  • Do not spray onto polished, painted or delicate surfaces without testing first.

  • Store upright in a cool place.

  • ​

6. Skincare and Personal Care Products

Before using any skincare product:

  • Read the ingredients carefully.

  • Carry out a patch test before first use.

  • Do not use on broken or irritated skin.

  • Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

  • Seek medical advice if irritation persists.

  • It is advised to conduct a patch test prior to use

Our products are intended for external use only unless otherwise stated.

7. Hemp-Derived Ingredients

Some KKOL products may contain hemp-derived ingredients that are legal for sale within the United Kingdom.

These products:

  • are not medicines;

  • are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease;

  • should always be used in accordance with the product instructions.

Customers outside the United Kingdom are responsible for ensuring that products comply with local laws before purchase.

8. Allergy Information

Although ingredient information is provided wherever possible, products may be manufactured or handled in environments where allergens are present.

If you have allergies or sensitive skin, please review the ingredients carefully and carry out a patch test before use.

If you experience an allergic reaction, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.

9. Product Storage

To maintain product quality:

  • Store products in a cool, dry place.

  • Keep away from direct sunlight.

  • Reseal products after use where applicable.

  • Follow any storage instructions printed on the product packaging.
